Mark Robert Amore
On April 16, 2020, SRT lost a member of both its Mechanics and Sonar Teams with the passing of Mark Robert Amore. As a firefighter/paramedic with the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District and, before that, a Lieutenant with the McHenry Township Fire Protection District, Mark was an active member of SRT for many years. His love for heavy equipment and machinery made him an asset to the Mechanics Team and his avid boating experience brought valuable knowledge to the Sonar Team as both a boat operator and sonar technician. His dedication to the fire service was obvious to all those that knew him.
