Training Topic/Description: The focus of this training is to complete all of the OSFM recertification objectives for Rope operations for Non-TRT members of CAFT departments. There will be several stations needed to cover these objectives. TRT members will be instructors at these stations.

Training Objectives: OSFM Rope Operation Recertifications
6.1.1 – Direct a team
6.1.2 – Direct a lowering operation
6.1.3 – Construct a multipoint anchor system
6.1.4 – Construct a compound rope mechanical advantage system
6.1.5 – Construct a fixed rope system
6.1.6 – Direct the operation of compound rope mechanical advantage system
6.1.7 – Ascend a fixed rope in a high-angle environment
6.1.8 – Descend a fixed roped in a high-angle environment.

We will start rotating crews through at 8 am. Whenever you arrive, we will assign you at a station. Each station will be about 15-20 minutes.
